Cold pressing is one of the most ancient natural ways of oil extraction. It retains all its flavor, aroma and nutritive value, making this oil great for cooking & hence adds more taste to your food. Cold Pressed Oil is extracted in a traditional & natural way using a wooden churner (Lakdi ghana). A heavy wooden circular mortar is used for grinding and crushing. No external heat is required to carry out the process. The expressed wood cold pressed oil is collected in a scooped circular pit and it is not refined, bleached or deodorized. Since the oil extraction technique does not involves heat it ensures that the nutrients in the oil remain intact and retain flavor which is otherwise destroyed by heat in refined oil extraction.
In addition to cooking, cold pressed oils are also used for skincare either directly or indirectly in cosmetics.
